Barbell Squat animation
Instructions:
Stand with the barbell sitting comfortably across the back of your shoulders. Sit back using a count of 4 while breathing in with your back slightly arched and chest out until your thighs are parallel to the floor. Pause and press up through your heals using a count of 2 while breathing out to a standing position. Squeeze your thigh muscles for a moment and repeat.
Tips:
  • Do not let your knees go past your toes.
  • Only allow your upper body to lean forward slightly, if at all.
  • Do not lock your knees at the top of the movement.
