Good nutritional habits are a major part of success in reaching your fitness goals. How are your nutritional habits? Without structure and consistency in your nutrition all of your hard work in the weight room and your cardiovascular exercise could be sabotaged.

Did you know that you should eat once every two to three hours for a total of five to six meals each day? Do you know how much protein your body needs for proper recovery? Did you know that without adequate vitamins and minerals your body cannot function at it's full potential?
Here is a list of some "Eating Tips" to help you maintain your energy while you train as well as help you lose some inches around your middle:
Eating Tips
Eat 5 to 6 small meals a day.
Drink 6 or more 8 ounce glasses of water each day.
Eat before you get hungry, drink water before you get thirsty.
Avoid carbohydrates (potatoes, breads, rice, pasta, etc) within 4 hours of going to sleep.
Eat one serving of protein and one serving of carbohydrates with each meal (note: a serving is about the size of your fist).
Do not eat anything that has more than 20% of its total calories from fat.
Use meal replacement supplements for 2 of your meals to cut food costs and preparation time.
Use Sunday as your "Free Day" and eat reasonable amounts of the food you like approximately every three hours.
